Because I’m an Open Book

What started as an interest in beauty quickly became something much deeper: a career built on refining detail, understanding people, and creating work that feels as good as it looks. I’ve always had a natural pull to share what I learn, whether that’s through a service, a technique, or a conversation—because I believe we get better when we grow together.

I’ve been in the beauty industry for over a decade, but my path into lashes quickly became something much bigger than just a service.

In 2012, I became the owner of iLashNY, where I built and managed a lash studio while developing my approach to customized lash artistry. In 2014, I began a partnership with Borboleta Beauty, and by 2016, I stepped into the role of educator—spending weekends teaching while continuing to run and grow my salon during the week.

For years, I lived in both worlds: behind the chair and in the classroom. That balance shaped not just my technique, but the way I teach—grounded in real experience, not just theory.

At the end of 2019, I made the decision to close my studio—the last week of the year would be my last week as a salon owner. Not because I was done with the industry, but because I wanted to be more present as a mom and a wife. That shift led me into a full-time role with Borboleta on the education team, where I focused on curriculum development and supporting artists across the brand.

Now, I’ve found my way back behind the chair, with a perspective shaped by both hands-on work and years of education. Today, I split my time between servicing clients, teaching lash and brow trainings, and being present for the people who matter most to me.

Whether you’re sitting in my chair or learning beside me, my goal is the same—to create work that’s thoughtful, refined, and built to last. I care just as much about how things look as I do about how they hold up, and I bring that same level of intention to every client and every student I work with.
